HBCU Study Abroad Scholarships

IES is committed to providing opportunities for students of color who have been traditionally under-represented on study abroad programs. As part of
this effort, special scholarships and financial aid are available and we encourage all students who qualify to apply for this assistance. A guaranteed $2,000 scholarship will be awarded as follows: $1,500 credit toward the IES program fee; PLUS $500 toward the purchase of an overseas airline ticket for the IES program (upon receipt of a valid, overseas

The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund

The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides grants to students actively working for peace and justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded
to those able to do academic work at the university level and who are part of the progressive movement on the campus and in the community. Early
recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism, and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international

Porter Physiology Fellowships For Minorities

Open to underrepresented ethnic minority applicants who are citizens or
permanent residents of the United States or its territories. The applicant must have been accepted into or currently be in a graduate program in
physiology at the time of the application. Fellowships are awarded for one year, with the possibility of a second year of funding if trainee progress is rated by the Committee to be good. Under exceptional circumstances, a third year may be awarded. Learn more.

Explorers Club Youth Activity Grant

The Youth Activity Grant is available to full-time high school seniors and undergraduate college students to enable them to participate in field research in the natural sciences under the supervision of a qualified scientist and/or institution. In addition to the application, you must submit a three-page explanation of your proposed project in your own words and two letters of recommendation to be eligible for this award. NASCAR Diversity Internship

NASCAR is committed to attaining greater diversity within its organization and throughout the industry.

To help with this endeavor, and assist in growing the industry's representation of communities of color, NASCAR has created the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program.

This program will provide meaningful opportunities for qualified candidates to work with NASCAR's sanctioning body, NASCAR sponsors and licensees, NASCAR teams and tracks, and other motorsports-related companies.

Internships are available in broadcasting, communications, design, engineering, fundraising, business, public relations, sales, licensing, sports marketing, and more.
